The new Anam Cara House Geelong is located in a beautiful rural setting with elevated views at Deakin University in Waurn Ponds. Architecturally designed with 20 private bedrooms, open communal areas and landscaped gardens, it has been carefully designed to feel like a home for guests, their families and carers.
We are an independent, non-denominational organisation that is heavily community-funded. We support people with chronic and life-limiting diagnosis, as well as their carers and families, in many ways.
To enquire about any of our services, please contact our office between Monday to Friday from 9AM and 4:30PM.

Anam Cara House Geelong
recognises that central to the 2017 Uluru Statement of the Heart was the
recommendation to establish a Voice to Parliament.
The Voice has been
endorsed by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across our nation
since, and in this year’s referendum all Australians will be asked to vote on
whether to enshrine the Voice into our Constitution.
Anam Cara House
Geelong’s Board of Directors and Management value the broad spectrum of
opinions on an issue that is sensitive and deeply personal.
The Anam Cara House
Geelong‘s Board and Management acknowledge the Wadawurrung Traditional Owners
Aboriginal Corporation as the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we
meet, work, learn and provide care. We believe recognition of Aboriginal and
Torres Strait Islander people should be included in the Constitution and support
the proposed Voice to Parliament.
Anam Cara House Geelong
Board and Management recognises that First Nations people must be consulted
about proposed laws, policies and systems that affect them, across all domains
of their lives – cultural, social, economic, and those related to health. We
are committed to supporting and enabling culturally sensitive approaches for
palliative care. We are committed to listening to, meaningfully engaging with,
and strengthening First Nations voices.
Anam Cara House
Geelong’s Board and Management believe that establishing an Aboriginal and
Torres Strait Islander Voice will help to address this societal and systemic
disadvantage and move towards health equity for First Nations people.
Anam Cara House Geelong strives for excellence in the services we offer to the community. We appreciate all feedback and treat all complaints seriously.
