Annual General Meeting 2014
Anam Cara House Geelong's Annual General Meeting is on Thursday 6th November 2014 at the Wesley Centre, 100 Yarra Street, Geelong. Our guest speaker is Dr Heather Wellington, lawyer with DLA Piper, Surf Coast Shire Councillor and former Chair of the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. All are welcome to attend. Fundraising Trivia Night
Invite your family and friends to our Trivia Night fundraiser at the Belmont Park Pavilion from 7pm on Saturday 25th October 2014. There'll be a mystery auction, prizes and a raffle - plus you'll help raise much needed funds for our community palliative care service. Tickets are $15 including a light supper - simply pay on the night. We're excited to annouce that first prize in our raffle is one night's accommodation at Seaview House in Queenscliff plus a double pass to The Blues Train. More prizes will be announced soon!

15 year old Kortnie Digiandomenico almost doubles her A Bed for a Night campaign target
We are excited to announce that ambassador Kortnie Digiandomenico has raised more than $3,500 through her A Bed for a Night campaign. We congratulate Kortnie on such an incredible effort! Welcome to our new Business Community Partners
Anam Cara Geelong is thrilled to welcome Gartland Community on board as our first Business Community Partner. Thanks to Bob Gartland and the team for supporting the program over the next three years. Their pledge will fund one night of palliative care nursing which we provide free of charge to our guests. We would also like to welcome our Patron Frank Costa, Jonathan Hepner Funerals, ISIS and MC Herd as Business Community Partners. Morgans Financial Geelong has also made a pledge to us and joined the program. A special mention to Barwon Timber & Hardware for their generous donation which has covered over two nights of palliative care nursing. All of the details here.
